WATCH: North Penn Student Filmmakers Advance To National Finals
Watch the short film created by North Penn student filmmakers that has earned them a spot in the national finals.

LANSDALE, PA — North Penn High School students competing in regional competitions are on fire lately. Just days before the school won the finals of the National Economics Challenge in New York City, cinema students have advanced to the national level of the 10 Day Film Challenge.
Eight North Penn students were honored as Grand Prize winners on May 11 at the Pennsylvania 10 Day Film Festival Challenge for their film "Run."
The 10 Day Film Festival Challenge encourages high school filmmakers to submit a three to four minute short film shot over the course of ten school days exclusively on school property during class time. All films must contain the same main character, prop and a line of dialogue. Each film is randomly assigned a genre, organizers said.
