WATCH: North Penn Teacher's Hip Hop Performance Engages Class
North Penn English and creative writing teacher Scott Swindells devised a compelling way to get his students engaged.

LANSDALE, PA — North Penn English and creative writing teacher Scott Swindells devised a compelling way to get his students engaged during a recent class.
With a pop quiz coming up, Swindells authored a short hip hop song, complete with a beat in the background, to the delight of his students.
"Study your vocab words so you can do well on my quiz," he rapped. "Or else your brain stem, wait, you try to get your head straight, but you can't figure it out, like a Temple kid at Penn State."
