Victim Of Fatal Falls Township Bicycle Crash ID'd
The Bristol Township man was struck by a vehicle on New Falls Road while riding his bike on Monday evening, authorities said.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —The victim of a fatal bicycle accident on Labor Day has been identified, the Bucks County Coroner’s Office said Friday.
Francisco Chavarria, 64, of Bristol Township was struck by a vehicle on New Falls Road while riding his bike, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said.
His cause of death was from multiple injuries and accidental, Buck said.

The Falls Township Police Department said that the accident happened around 7 p.m. Monday when Chavarria was struck in the 9000 block of New Falls Road by a silver-colored 2020 Nissan Rogue driven by a 21-year-old Morrisville resident.
Police said the bicyclist was wearing dark-colored clothing and no helmet.

“The Bucks County Coroner’s Office conveys their deepest condolences to the family and friends of both victims as they grieve the tragic loss of their loved ones,” the coroner said.
It was the second fatality in Bucks County over the weekend.
Buck said that an 83-year-old pedestrian from Montgomery County was struck by a vehicle and killed on Route 309 in Quakertown, Richland Township, on Saturday, Sept.
His cause of death was from multiple injuries and was determined to be accidental.
