WATCH: This Is What A Deadly ‘Kissing Bug’ Looks Like
Are you concerned about the deadly insect known as the “kissing bug,” which the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says is now in Pennsylvania?
“Triatomine bugs” are primarily nocturnal and feed on the blood of mammals - including humans - as well as birds and reptiles. They often carry a parasite that causes Chagas disease, which can be fatal if left untreated, according to a CDC release.
One Pennsylvania resident says they spotted one and shared the video on YouTube. Here’s what they look like.
