Another Home Robbery Reported in Lower Moreland
The following was reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

Last week the Lower Moreland Police Department was informed of another break-in where actors used forced entry to gain access inside the house.
A homeowner at the 3800 block of Buck Rd. called LMPD after she discovered her laundry door was ajar after she got home from work. She then noticed damage from the forced side door in the hallway entrance. It appears the suspects pried the lock to the door to get in the house. The interior door frame and part of the dry wall was damaged. The only items known to be taken were jewelry from the master bedroom.
Incidents like this have been showing up regularly in the police log. Two weeks ago, one resident from her master bedroom in a burglary.

"It looks like it's related to the uptick in drug use we've also seen in the area. The suspects are taking property that can be easily turned into cash, which is then used to purchase drugs," said Warminster police chief Michael Murphy.

In Lower Moreland, there have been eight reported burglaries over the last 10 weeks alone. Last week another incident was reported where an owner on Pine Rd. noticed the lock on his front door was partially damaged, but LMPD believe the robbers ran away once they tripped off the alarm system.
