DOYLESTOWN, PA — Lee Kaplan, the man accused of sexually assaulting six underage sisters at his Bucks County home, has been convicted on all 17 charges. Kaplan, 52, was arrested by Lower Southampton police in June 2016 after authorities located 12 female children in his Old Street Road home in Feasterville.
A Bucks County Common Pleas Court jury of nine men and three women deliberated for nine hours over two days before finding Kaplan guilty on all counts — 17 separate sex crimes including child rape, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual assault and indecent assault.
As the verdicts were read, "Kaplan rocked in his chair, his arms in his lap," according to information from the District Attorney. He looked "dejected" and "shook his head slightly in disagreement," officials with the DA said.
