SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Model Dayle Haddon died Friday following a carbon monoxide leak at a home in Solebury Township, Bucks County, according to sources.

Emergency crews responded to a carriage house in the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road around 6:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call about a man passed out on the first floor of the building.

According to a CBS News report, the home is owned by Haddon's daughter, former journalist Ryan Haddon, and Ryan's husband, actor Marc Blucas.

Medics found a 76-year-old man lying on the first floor of the house and immediately began treatment. Police said the man was eventually taken from the building after the medics became overcome by what appeared to be carbon monoxide.

The man was treated and later flown to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

While the man was being treated, police said emergency responders found a 76-year-old woman — identified as Haddon by the Bucks County Coroner's Office — on the second floor of the carriage house. Haddon was found unresponsive and was removed from the building.

Haddon was provided aid on scene, but was later pronounced dead by the Bucks County Coroner's Office, police said.

New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company was also on the scene and detected a high level of carbon monoxide at the property.

The two paramedics who were overcome by the gas were taken to Doylestown Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition and treated for carbon monoxide exposure. A Solebury Twp. police officer was also treated at the scene for minor exposure.

A preliminary investigation shows a possible malfunction with a heating unit, police said.

According to CBS News, Haddon rose to fame in the 1970s and '80s as a supermodel and later became an ambassador for the humanitarian aid organization UNICEF. She is also the founder of WomenOne, a nonprofit organization focused on creating educational opportunities for girls and women.
