New Author Series Continues At River House At Odette's

NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — In partnership with Doylestown Bookshops, River House at Odette's continues its "Author Series" on Dec. 21 with Lynn Steger Strong, the author of the novel, "Flight."

Strong's non-fiction has appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, New York, The Paris Review, Time, and elsewhere. She has taught writing at The Pratt Institute, Fairfield University, Catapult, and Columbia University and is the Visiting Fiction Writer at Bates College for the 2022-23 school year.

"The Author Series" highlights monthly celebrated writers, including multiple New York Times Best-Selling authors and features meet and greets, book signings, and private readings during their stay at the edgy, yet historic hotel. Adding a special twist to the book club concept, a literary-inspired cocktail is curated each month for guests to immerse themselves in the selected narratives.

Located on the previous site of Chez Odette, a boisterous cabaret in the 1960s founded by French-American actress, Odette Myrtil, each author and title was hand-selected for their own unique cadences that tie in with the hotel’s history, style, setting, and personality. The current line-up of authors include:

• January 25th, 2023 - Jean Hanff Korelitz, The Latecomer
• February 23rd, 2023 - Hank Phillippi Ryan, The House Guest
• March 29th, 2023 - Julie Carrick Dalton, The Last Beekeeper
