NEW HOPE, PA — The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury will hold its 6th Annual Community Read-A-Thon from January 18 to 27. The event, a fundraiser for the library, is aimed to celebrate and foster a love of reading.
To participate in the Read-A-Thon, you'll need to pickup or download a log from the library, then solicit contributions from sponsors for minutes read or overall performance.
"The sponsors’ donations collected by the participants will benefit the whole community because those donations go directly to the operation of the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury," the library said in announcing the event.
