Thompson Memorial To Celebrate Dr. King With A Day Of Service

SOLEBURY, PA — Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church in New Hope is hosting its 2nd annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is an all-ages event featuring a free breakfast; a musical performance by the Mad Beatz Drumline; guest speaker Sean McFadden from Urban Promise in Trenton; an educational wealth gap simulator; and opportunities to participate in service projects, like the Burrito Bonanza, where the goal is to assemble 1,000 burritos for local food pantries.

Students can earn community service hours and families can show their children how to give back.
