Historic Logan Inn Damaged In Tuesday Evening Fire
Firefighters from multiple departments responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night for a building fire on Ferry Street.

NEW HOPE, PA — Fire broke out Tuesday evening at the historic Logan Inn at Ferry and South Main Streets in the heart of the borough.
Firefighters from multiple departments responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. for the report of a building fire.
The first crews on the scene reported smoke and fire showing from the roof, according to Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania. A video taken by a spectator showed an orange glow along the building’s third-floor roof line.

The firefighters used hose lines to bring the fire under control at 7 p.m.
Among the stations responding to the scene were New Hope Eagle, Midway, Lambertville, Lambertville-New Hope Medic 175, Point Pleasant and Lingohocken.

The extent of the damage at the historic inn, established in 1727, was not immediately known.
The cause is under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s office. The Logan Inn is owned by Landmark Hospitality.
