2 Bucks County Senior Living Communities Earn Safest Places to Live Designation
Safest Places to Live™ is a prestigious national designation awarded to communities that demonstrate an elite commitment to resident safety.

Heritage Senior Living is proud to announce that two of its Bucks County senior living communities have been recognized as Safest Places to Live™ for 2026. This prestigious national designation is awarded to communities that demonstrate an elite commitment to resident safety by meeting the rigorous 7-Point Standard of Resident Security.
Heritage Senior Living communities in Bucks County include:
- The Birches at Newtown, 70 Durham Road, Newtown
- The Birches at New Hope, 6554 Lower York Road, New Hope

In addition to the two Bucks County communities, all Heritage Senior Living communities received the Safest Places to Live designation.
To qualify, each recognized community demonstrated compliance with seven criteria in the Safest Places to Live Standard of Resident Security: Controlled & Accountable Access, Visible Identification, Verified Identity, Real-Time Situational Awareness, Resident & Family Transparency, Data Privacy, and Mass Emergency Communication.
