2016 Village Renaissance Faire Set For Sept. 17, 18

Mark your calendars: the 17th Annual Village Renaissance Faire will be held Sept. 17 and 18 at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds.

The popular annual event, a fundraiser for the Wrightstown Village Library, attracts more than 9,000 attendees annually, according to organizers.

  • Flying Birds of Prey
  • Jousting knights
  • Dangling aerialists
  • Authentic food and period merchants
  • Carriage rides, pony rides and petting zoo
  • Children’s crafts, shows, games, and interactive play
  • Human chess, working Trebuchet catapult and other weapons of war
  • Juggling, puppetry and marionettes
  • Visual artists, working artisans, and blacksmith
  • Live music, dance, and theatre
  • Fencing, fire breathers, archery, living history and demonstrating artisans

Events are held Sept. 17 and 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Middletown Grange Fairgrounds are located off Penns Park Road in Wrightstown.

The cost to attend is $10 adults and $5 students. Children under 5 are free.
