Busy Weekend Ahead In Newtown: 3 Businesses Opening, Book Lovers Event, Oscar Party

It will be a busy weekend ahead in Newtown.

There are three new businesses opening in town. Plus, it's the Newtown Library Company's annual Book Lovers Party on Saturday, and there's an Oscar party planned Sunday at the Newtown Theatre.

• Newtown Library Company’s 15th annual Book Lovers Party will be held Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. The party, a fundraiser for the local library, will be held at the Atrium at Stocking Works, 201 S.
