Newtown, PA – The Zlock Performing Arts Center at Bucks County Community College, in partnership with the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society, proudly presents internationally acclaimed French classical guitarist Gabriel Bianco in a special afternoon concert on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
Recognized as one of the leading classical guitarists of his generation, Gabriel Bianco has captivated audiences around the world with his exceptional technical mastery, expressive musicianship, and remarkable versatility. His distinguished career has taken him to more than 50 countries across Europe, Asia, North and South America, and beyond, establishing him as one of today's most accomplished ambassadors of the classical guitar.
Throughout his international career, Bianco has performed in prestigious concert halls and venues worldwide, earning recognition for his artistry as a soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and educator. With eight recordings to his credit, he continues to explore the extraordinary expressive possibilities of the guitar, bringing both traditional masterpieces and contemporary compositions to life.
A passionate advocate for chamber music, Bianco is a founding member of Quatuor Éclisses, the acclaimed French guitar quartet established in 2012. Through his work with the ensemble, he has helped expand the possibilities of classical guitar performance, exploring innovative arrangements and the rich musical textures created when multiple guitars come together.
In addition to his performing career, Bianco is deeply committed to music education and the development of future generations of guitarists. Since 2018, he has taught and directed higher guitar studies at the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam, sharing his experience and musical insights with aspiring professional musicians from around the world.
Bianco is also an enthusiastic champion of contemporary music, regularly collaborating with composers and fellow musicians to explore new works and expand the classical guitar repertoire. His artistic approach bridges centuries of musical tradition while embracing the creativity and innovation of today's composers.
