Doylestown Health To Honor Its Founders At Centennial Event
The event will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the very first Doylestown Emergency Hospital on October 9, 1923.

DOYLESTOWN, PA – On October 9, Doylestown Health will honor the founders of Doylestown Hospital, the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (VIA), and generations of people who have made the hospital what it is today.
The event will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the very first Doylestown Emergency Hospital on October 9, 1923, and acknowledge the impact that the VIA and the community have had on the hospital and the health system while honoring its past, present, and future.
The event will feature a community-wide celebration and flag-raising ceremony on the Doylestown Hospital campus, located at 595 West State Street in Doylestown. After a brief program that will begin at 8 a.m., a new centennial flag, designed by a Doylestown Health Associate and chosen by the VIA, will be raised on the flagpole.

Fellowship and refreshments will follow, along with performances by Central Bucks School District students, including the Lenape Middle School Choir and Central Bucks High School West Marching Band. The program is anticipated to conclude at approximately 9 a.m.
