Enhancing Comfort and Care at Friends Village
HVAC and infrastructure upgrades at Paxson Hall enhance comfort, safety, and climate control while preserving its historic character.
Almost done!
If you’ve walked by Paxson Hall lately, you may have noticed some activity—and it’s all been for a really good reason. Friends Village just completed a major upgrade to the building’s heating and cooling system, all with the comfort of the people who live there in mind. Residents can now control their own temperature, making each space feel just right—something that truly matters day to day.
This has been a big project for a building that’s been part of Newtown since 1900. Over the past nine months, every room was carefully worked on, along with upgrades to power and a new backup generator to keep everyone safe. You might’ve even seen the old generator being lifted out last week. The new equipment will soon be softened with landscaping, and before long, it’ll blend right in—just like it always has. At the end of the day, it’s all about making sure our neighbors at Friends Village feel comfortable, safe, and at home.
