Pennsylvania Forecast Improves For Saturday
Drenching rain was predicted for Saturday, but the forecast has improved as the heavy precipitation went south.
What was expected to be a washout Saturday may not be so bad after all.
A nor'easter-like storm was initially anticipated to dump rain across the Philadelphia region for much of Saturday, but the heavy precipitation moved further south than originally expected.
Eastern PA Weather Authority reported the heavy rain from the rare summer storm went mostly south of Philadelphia, with parts of Delaware, South Jersey and Maryland bearing the brunt of it.
