JD Vance To Make Election Eve Campaign Stop In Bucks

The visit by the Republican nominee for vice president is expected to create traffic disruptions Monday evening on several area highways.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance is returning to Bucks County on Monday, Nov. 4 for an Election Eve rally. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Newtown Sports and Events Center at 207 Penns Trail.

This is Vance's second visit to Newtown. He campaigned here in September, also at the Newtown Sports and Events Center. Doors for the event open at 6:30 p.m. To register for tickets, click here.

Republican Presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump, and Democratic Presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, are both in Pennsylvania today fighting for Pennsylvania's 19 electoral votes. Whoever wins in Pennsylvania could win the Presidency.

Vice President Harris will be joining Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey at a concert and rally at the Art Museum in Philadelphia Monday evening while former President Trump holds afternoon and evening rallies in Reading and Pittsburgh before heading to Michigan for a rally in Grand Rapids.

Traffic Delays Expected

The public can expect traffic delays and intermittent road closures Monday evening in Lower Makefield and Newtown Township due to the Vance visit.

The Pennsylvania State Police said traffic disruptions can be expected throughout the evening from 7 to 10 p.m. on I-295 in Lower Makefield (northbound and southbound) and on the Newtown Bypass (Route 332) in Lower Makefield and Newtown Townships.

"It is anticipated these traffic disruptions will cause other roads throughout the region to also be impacted," Pennsylvania State Police said.
