• Traditional Yoga Studio Opens At The Shoppes In Wrightstown (patch.com) — Newtown residents now have a new wellness option nearby as Newtown Borough yoga teacher Elle Kaplan opens TrueYoga Studio and School at the Shoppes at Wrightstown. Supported by the Newtown Business Association and her family, Kaplan is focusing on traditional, community-centered yoga with a full schedule of classes, workshops, and meditation just minutes from town.
   

• Obituary: Arthur William Crooke, 96, Hood River (columbiacommunityconnection.com) — Arthur William Crooke spent part of his later years at Pennswood Village in Newtown after leaving a beloved island cottage following a battle with bladder cancer. He remained deeply connected to family across the country, visiting relatives, sharing traditions like blueberry pancakes, and eventually moving to Oregon to be closer to his children and grandchildren before his passing at 96.
