Harvest Announces Opening Date For Newtown Location
An opening date has been announced for the highly-anticipated Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar. We have the details:

Folks, the wait is (almost) over. Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar has set an opening date for its Newtown location. The farm-to-table eatery, which will be the eighth location for restaurateur Dave Magrogan and his team, will open to the public on Feb. 5 in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center.
The 6,500-square-foot restaurant will feature 240 seats in the dining room, plus 50 seats in the bar and a 40-seat private dining room. Additionally, there will be a 50-seat patio with outdoor seating. Harvest offers a farm-to-table menu featuring organic, local, sustainable and non-GMO ingredients sourced from more than 75 local farms. You can see the menu here.
The restaurant changes its menu seasonally so as to utilize the freshest foods available, and a majority of dishes contain less than 500 calories, according to sources. In addition, the restaurant offers more than 50 wines by-the-glass, seasonally-inspired hand-crafted cocktails and more than a dozen locally-produced craft beers.

Owner Dave Magrogan said says he's "thrilled" to expand his enterprise in Bucks County.
"Our team is intensely focused on producing healthy, delicious, locally-sourced menu items that are crafted from the freshest seasonal ingredients. We’re excited to bring our seasonally-changing restaurant to life in Newtown, and we couldn't do so without all of the local farmers who are the heart of our business model," Magrogan said.

The executive chef for the Newtown location is Tim Amoroso and the general manager is Gordon Dinerman, former owner and chef at Birra in Philadelphia. Dinerman has also worked for Starr Restaurants as the general manager of Buddakan and Barclay Prime.
"Harvest maintains a serious focus on sustainability, as the restaurant utilizes organic cleaning products, recycled glass bar tops, recycled paper products and even environmentally friendly ink for all menus," according to an announcement rom the company.
Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bars are already operating in several communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida, including Radnor, Glen Mills, North Wales, Moorestown, NJ, and Delray Beach, FL.
