Lords Valley man wins national title at North American Bridge Championship

Richard Schwartz takes national title at the Summer North American Bridge Championship.

Richard Schwartz of Lords Valley, Pa. won the Spingold Knockout Teams event, earning a national title at the Summer North American Bridge Championship (NABC). The NABCs are held three times a year and bring together more than 5,000 bridge players from across the U.S. and Canada to compete in 16 championship-level events.

Schwartz is also a past winner of multiple Jacoby Open Swiss titles and Vanderbilt Knockout Team tournament wins.

The 2014 Fall NABC will be held in Providence, R.I., from Nov. 27 to Dec. 7.
