Students were encouraged to design a poster illustrating the importance of trees in our world and what Arbor Day means to them. "The result of the challenge is a beautiful collection of children’s artwork that will displayed at the park during Newtown’s Arbor Day Celebration," Arbor Day celebration organizers said in a press release.
