PA State Employees With $200K+ Salaries: See Full List
Of the 100 state employees making $200K+, 10 make more than $300K. The highest-paid state employee makes nearly $446K.
PENNSYLVANIA — One hundred state employees in Pennsylvania have salaries of $200,000 or more, an analysis of public records reveals.
Of the 100 state employees making $200,000, 10 have a salary of more than $300,000 as of July 15.
The public employee with the highest annual salary, the records show, is James Grossman, chief investment officer for the Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS). Grossman's current salary is $445,948.

Two deputy chief investment officers for PSERS also make a salary over $300,000. Thomas Bauer and Charles Spiller, both deputy chief investment officers, make $367,122.
Several people employed by the Pennsylvania System of Higher Education have salaries over $300,000. Michael Driscoll, president of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, makes $390,235. Daniel Greenstein, a chancellor for the state System of Higher Education, is paid $380,000 annually. Christopher Florentino, president of West Chester University, is paid $310,459.

Governor Tom Wolf is not among those making more than $200,000. His salary is $197,968.
Not all salaries are funded by state tax dollars, the state points out. Some salaries are paid with federal funds, tolls, or fees.
