Sale Pending On Former Saloon Restaurant Building, Listing Says
A sale is pending on the former Saloon restaurant, according to the online listing from broker Richardson Commercial.

A sale is pending on the property that formerly housed The Saloon restaurant, according to an online listingfrom broker Richardson Commercial. It is not clear at this time who is purchasing the Sycamore Street property or what will be done with it. Richardson Commercial representatives tell Patch more information will be provided post closing.
The 5,100-square-foot property is listed at $2,390,000.
"Fantastic location right in the heart of the Newtown downtown shopping district. The business fixtures, equipment and liquor license are available for sale and the real estate can be leased or purchased. Business fixtures and the liquor license can be purchased for $695,000 and the building can be purchased or leased," the listing says.

The Saloon closed in March after being open nearly 10 years.
It was a "very difficult decision and a sad moment for us and our staff," the owners said at the time via Facebook. "Yet, we also feel very blessed to have had the privilege of operating our restaurant in this wonderful Newtown community and thank everyone for your loyalty, support and patronage over the years."

The owners also operate Square 1 Pub in New Hope, which remains open.
