The younger Rose continually refused police commands and had to be tased, according to officers.
Once separated, officers identified the other male as Jared’s 57-year-old father, who was bleeding “profusely” from his head had a visible puncture wound on the left side of his face, police said.
As officers were gaining control of this scene, an elderly female, later identified as Patterson, wandered aimlessly wondering towards them from the area of the garage, according to information from police. The woman, who was bleeding profusely from the head and was missing several teeth, was not able to clearly speak because her lower jaw appeared fractured, according to police.
“When asked who did this to her and she replied ‘my grandson Jared.’ She offered no explanation why he did it and was not clear on the events that led up to it,” officers said.
Rose is being held in Bucks County Prison and has been denied bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 16, court records show.
