Bill Cosby Appeal To Be Heard Next Week By PA Supreme Court
A court date has been set for the comedian to appeal his conviction of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in Montgomery County.

PENNSYLVANIA — Bill Cosby's latest appeal of his sexual assault conviction will be heard by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court next week, as lawyers will cite alleged irregularities in the former comedian's trial in an attempt to get him out of jail.
The date for the hearing is set for Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 9:30 a.m. It's the first case the court will hear during their argument session that day.
Cosby, convicted of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to three to 10 years in prison, has since been booked at SCI Phoenix in Montgomery County.

The 82-year-old Cosby has attempted to use the coronavirus pandemic, institutional racism, and more to justify his release, and all of it no avail until the Pennsylvania Supreme Court finally agreed in June to hear his appeal.
Specifically, Cosby's lawyers plan to contest two parts of the original case: the way prosecutors used the testimony of five women who had previously accused Cosby, and the "immunity" deal which Cosby reached with former Montgomery County District Attorney back when the case first surfaced.

"I sincerely thank the State Supreme Court of Pennsylvania for agreeing to review my appeal & overturn the racial corruption of the DA & Judge," Cosby said in a social media statement via his representatives, back in June.
Prosecutors have been adamant that their case was strong and that the appeal is baseless.
