Elmwood Park Zoo teaches children and area residents about the wonders of strange and weird animals, during the interactive Cabinet of Curiosities event at Plymouth Meeting Mall, Oct. 9, from noon to 4 p.m.

The event will be held in the mall's Center Court. If you miss the exhibit, stop by the new Elmwood Park Zoo Outpost on the upper level. The Outpost is a natural history museum with exotic artifacts, books and animal toys.
