Police ID Man Killed During Alleged Collegeville Break-In

Authorities have identified the man who was shot and killed inside a Collegeville home over the weekend. An investigation is ongoing.

COLLEGEVILLE, PA — The man shot and killed inside a Collegeville home over the weekend has been identified.

Robert F. Pollock, 55, of Schwenksville, was the individual killed late Saturday night, Feb. 15, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.

The incident occurred inside a home on the first block of E. 3rd Avenue.

Authorities said that "initial reports" indicated that Pollock forced himself inside the home, and was shot multiple times by one of the residents inside the home.

No arrests have been made, but a homicide investigation is underway. Further circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
