Officials Lift Boil Water Advisory In Norristown, Plymouth

NORRISTOWN, PA — After two days, the boil water advisory impacting Pennsylvania American Water customers in Norristown and Plymouth Township has been lifted.

The water is now safe to drink without being boiled, according to officials.

Authorities said they completed tests on the water quality to ensure its safety.

Just under 900 customers were impacted by the advisory, which covered a chunk of real estate on the border of the two municipalities.

The advisory was issued after a water main break led to conditions that could have potentially contaminated the supply.
