PA Residents Can Vote In Person Now At County Election Offices

PENNSYLVANIA — Though Election Day itself may be weeks away, Pennsylvanians can vote in person today at locations throughout the state using mail-in ballots.

Mail-in ballots can be applied for, approved, picked up, filled out, and dropped off simultaneously at county election offices through Oct. 26, officials said.

“Voting in person by mail ballot before Election Day is an easy and convenient option for voters who do not want to return their ballot by mail and who cannot or do not want to go to the polls on Election Day,” Pennsylvania elections chief and Secretary of State Veronica Degraffenreid said in a statement.

Alternatively, residents can still cast their ballot the old fashioned way in person at the polls on Nov. 2. And mail-in ballots can, of course, be mailed in.

Residents are reminded to place their ballots in the inner secrecy envelope labeled "official election ballot" before placing it in the pre-addressed return envelope.

On Election Day, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
