EVENT:                 The Fresh Air Fund’s Lehigh Valley Volunteer Committee is celebrating Fresh Air Fund Day at Yo Fresh Yogurt Cafe.

                                Local Fresh Air hosts and volunteers

On Wednesday, March 20^th, 2013, Fresh Air Fund volunteer leaders and hosts will celebrate Fresh Air Fund Day at Yo Fresh Yogurt Cafe, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Volunteer hosts will talk to prospective host families about their experiences hosting a New York City child through The Fresh Air Fund’s Volunteer Host Family Program and answer any questions about hosting for this summer. Twenty percent of the night’s proceeds will be donated to The Fresh Air Fund of Lehigh Valley.

The Fresh Air Fund is an independent, not-for-profit agency that has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million New York City children from low-income communities since 1877. Each summer, over 4,000 children visit volunteer host families in rural, suburban and small town communities across 13 states from Virginia to Maine and Canada.
