Members and volunteers from GPSEG, The Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group, gave their time to local non-profit Cradles to Crayons on Saturday, March 2, 2013. More than 20 volunteers worked at the Cradles
to Crayons warehouse in West Conshohocken to sort clothing, clean and test toys, examine books, inspect baby equipment and assemble customized “KidPacks” complete with essential items for kids living in poverty to enjoy a happy and healthy life.
Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. Cradles to Crayons collects new and nearly new children's items through grassroots community
drives and corporate donations. Donations are then processed and packaged by volunteers, and are distributed to disadvantaged children across the state through a collaborative network of social service agencies and school partners.
Volunteers from GPSEG, all senior level executives, believe strongly in giving back to the community and have a passion for volunteer projects.
