New executive hire at SDI, Inc.

Louay Khatib has joined SDI, Inc. as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

As a member of SDI’s executive leadership, Khatib will head the company’s finance and accounting team.  He has more than 20 years financial and professional services leadership experience, most recently as chief compliance officer at Aramark Corp., a global Fortune 250 food and facilities management services company. There he was responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing Aramark’s first global compliance program.

Prior to joining Aramark he was a senior audit manager at Ernst & Young, LLP, serving public, multi-national clients across a wide range of industries, both in the U.S. and overseas.

Khatib is a CPA and a U.K. chartered accountant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from the University of Bristol in England. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).  He lives in West Chester, Pa., with his wife, Miriam, and three sons.
