The Northampton Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between June 17 and 23.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between June 17 and 23.
During this tour, patrol handled 19 alarm calls, 17 abandoned 911 calls, 28 medical emergencies, 17
Bookings, 3 Domestic Disputes, 11 Civil Disputes, 46 Traffic Monitoring details and nine crime prevention details.
- Traffic Accident (deer Involved) - Patrol responded to Elm Avenue for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on Elm Avenue when a deer ran into the roadway. As a result, contact was made. Tow was not required.
- Traffic Stop (drug arrest) - Patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a registration violation on Buck Road. Through investigation, the driver was taken into custody for the possession of drugs.

- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the intersection of Bustleton Pike and Elm Avenue for a traffic accident. Unit 1 entered onto Bustleton Pike from Elm Avenue and struck unit 2 which was traveling northbound on Bustleton Pike. Tow was required.
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to the 200 block of Buck Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling northbound on Buck Road when it left the roadway and struck a sign and utility pole. Tow was not required.
June 19
- Vehicle Lockout - Patrol responded to Johanna Drive for a vehicle lockout. Once on location, contact was made with the vehicle owner. Using lockout tools, patrol was able to gain entry.
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to a parking lot in the 1000 block of 2nd Street Pike for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was pulling into a parking spot when it struck unit 2 which was parked. Tow was not required.

- Investigation of Open Doors - Patrol investigated an open door to a business in the 1400 block of Buck Road. The business owner was contacted and the door was secured.
- Traffic Accident (deer involved) - Patrol responded to Sackettsford Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on Sackettsford Road when a deer ran into the roadway. As a result, contact was made. Tow was not required.
June 21
- Information Reported - A complainant reported mailing cards with cash to family members. In checking, they found that the cards never made it to their destinations. In checking, it was found that a white SUV was seen in the area driving up to mailboxes. Information was gathered.
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to a parking lot in the 700 block of 2nd Street Pike for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was driving through the parking lot when it made contact with unit 2 which was stopped. Tow was not required.
- Retail Theft - Patrol responded to a business in the 800 block of Bustleton Pike for a retail theft. The individual left the store without paying for merchandise. Through investigation, patrol was able to identify the individual involved and they were charged with retail theft.
June 22
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to Newtown-Richboro Road for a traffic accident. Unit 2 was stopped and waiting to make a left turn onto Number One Lane Trail when it was struck from behind by unit 1 which was traveling the same direction. Tow was not required.
- Traffic Accident - Patrol responded to Walnut Drive for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling on eastbound on Pine Avenue when it made contact with unit 2 which was parked on the street. Tow was not required.
June 23
- Fire - Patrol responded to Sienna Circle for a fire. Once on location, the fire was located and extinguished by the Northampton Township Fire Department.
