Earth Day Volunteer Project

Bring your family, your friends or your scout troop and lend a hand at the park! We will be removing invasive plants so that our native plants have the upper hand in the environment. We can use the help of all ages: garlic mustard is very easy to pull and multiflora rose needs to be removed with garden loppers. Pre-registered scouts will receive an “Earth Day” fun patch. Please include a count of how many individuals will be attending and how many of them are scouts. Bring gloves and loppers if you can. Meet at the boathouse pavilion and groups will disperse to other areas from this location.
