'Fast' Turtle Returns Home In Northampton Township
Tortellini, a Sulcata Tortoise, had escaped from her pen on Rocksville Road Sunday afternoon, her owner said, who found her there Monday.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Tortellini is back in her pen.
Brenda Crouse had posted on the Northampton Township Community Facebook page that her beloved Sulcata Tortoise, Tortellini, escaped her pen Sunday afternoon. But Crouse said that the turtle found her way back home and was back in her pen.

She thanked everyone for their help.
Tortellini was last seen in the Holland area after leaving her Rocksville Road home, Crouse said.

She's asking neighbors and the community to bring Tortellini back home.
Crouse said Tortellini is "very large," wearing 40 lbs. Tortellini is 8 years old and was acquired by Crouse as a rescue six years ago.
"She is also fast," Crouse said. "They move much faster than you would think."
Crouse said that Tortellini will not bite, is very friendly, and will be scared of you most likely.
"We have been looking for her since we realized and luckily it is cold today (Monday) so she won't be as active as usual," she told Patch.
