When the man approached Riley, police say, Riley became aggressive and threatening, eventually punching the man in the face and pushing him to the ground. Next, they say, he got into a fight with his brother, 22-year-old Daniel Riley. That fight started after police officers already had arrived.
As police were trying to handcuff Timothy Riley, he continued cursing and screaming, threatening to kill police officers, police said. They say Daniel, who had just been in a fight with his brother, then started demanding that police leave his brother alone while "physically motioning" as if he were going to try to stop officers from arresting his brother.
