Tree Trimmer Who Died In Northampton Identified

The man who died after being ejected from a bucket truck Tuesday morning while cutting trees on Andrea Drive has been identified as Carbon County resident Rodney Hunsicker Sr., the Bucks County Courier Times reported.

Hunsicker was an employee of Rick’s Tree Service who was removing trees in Northampton Township.

The freak accident happened while crews were working on Andrea Drive in the Holland section of the township, the Bucks County Courier Times reported. The truck tipped over and the bucket landed on the victim, the report said.

The incident is under investigation by police and OSHA.
