Tree Falls On House In Northampton
Local wind gusts of up to 60 mph were possible on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

NORTHAMPTON, PA — The heavy winds that blew through the area Sunday night and into Monday knocked a tree down on a home in Northampton, according to police.
The incident happened on Morning Glory Road, according to the Northampton Township Police Department. No residents inside the home were injured, according to police.
In a social media post, police also said they handled an accident in which a trash can was blown in front of a moving car. They were urging residents to be mindful of the winds, especially while driving.

Monday morning, more than 11,700 people in Bucks County were without power due to the winds, according to PECO.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say the raging winds, which have gusted higher than 50 mph in the Philadelphia region, will continue throughout the day Monday. A high wind warning is in effect through 6 p.m
