Ross Removing Illegally Placed Campaign Signs
A three-year-old township law prohibits the signs from being placed in certain areas.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Public works employees will be busy Monday removing hundreds of signs that have been illegally placed on various roads. Dan DeMarco, township commission president, made the announcement Sunday on social media.
DeMarco noted that the township in 2018 banned the placement of temporary political signs on township property and on the rights of way of state, county and township road.
"The ignorance of the law by candidates is disappointing," DeMarco wrote. "These are individuals who want to be elected to make laws, but obviously do not believe they have to follow the law."
