Collegeville Woman Reports Identity Theft

Police are investigating other thefts and criminal mischief incidents.

A Collegeville woman whose credit cards and driver’s license were stolen while she was traveling by bus from Richmond, VA, to Philadelphia, Friday, has recently noticed unauthorized activity on her account, according to police.

Perkiomen man, woman allegedly struck each other during argument

Two Perkiomen Township residents will be charged with simple assault and harassment in connection with a reported verbal-turned-physical argument, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.

Carol Snyder and Alan Coburn, both 43, were in the 500 block of Gravel Pike when they allegedly began to argue. Police say the disagreement escalated and claim the pair “exchanged several strikes before separating from each other.”

Both Snyder and Coburn suffered minor injuries, according to the police report.

 

Police: GPS units, other items stolen in Perkiomen Township

A business and a private resident on Welsh Road and Exmoor Drive in Perkiomen Township reported “property including GPS units were taken out of their unsecured vehicles while parked in their driveways,” a police report states.

Pennsylvania State Police are continuing an investigation.

 

Criminal mischief incidents reported in Skippack Township

Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information in two separate incidents that damaged vehicles.

In the 2000 block of Fort Bevon Road, an unknown person or persons used orange and black permanent markers on a 46-year-old woman’s car sometime between 7:30 p.m. April 7 and 9 a.m. April 8, according to a state police report. The incident caused an estimated $300 in damage, police said.

Also in the 2000 block of Fort Bevon Road, 61-year-old male reported that his vehicle’s windows were scratched with “a sharp metal object” sometime between 12:01 a.m. April 6 and 8 a.m. April 7, causing about $200 in damage, police said.

Unknown person beats mailbox

Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident in the 400 block of Perkiomen Township during the weekend.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, between 7 p.m. and 8:50 a.m. April 2 and 3, an unknown person struck a resident’s mailbox with an orange traffic cone. The cone was left at the mailbox’s base, police said.

Police investigating paint ball incident

A south wall of Accellent was hit with numerous paint balls around 8:30 Tuesday night, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.

Police said there have been reports of “juvenile males spray painting the factory (and) climbing on the roof.” The factory is located at 200 W. Seventh Ave. in Trappe.
