Man Severely Injured in Fall from Collegeville Home
The worker was helicoptered to Hahnemann for treatment.
A 28-year-old man was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital via helicopter to be treated for the severe head trauma he sustained in a two-story fall from a Collegeville home in the 800 block of Main Street Tuesday morning.
The man is an employee of Volpe Roofing, and he was working at the residence when the incident occurred. It appears to be accidental, according to initial reports.
Collegeville police officer Andrew Sohl, who was among those at the scene, said the man was conscious, but in a good deal of pain. took the injured man to , where the helicopter was landing.
