Pennsylvania State Police Probing Theft, Burglary Cases in Skippack Township and Trappe Borough

Police are investigating a burglary at a Skippack Township home that occurred sometime between Friday and Monday.
According to a report, a person or people used a key to enter a residence in the 1000 block of North Grange Avenue, and then removed copper piping from the baseboard heating system. The damage is estimated to be $1,500, police said.

Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information about a burglary at a Skippack home on Monday.
Sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m., an unknown person or people broke a basement window to a resident in the 4000 block of Tranquility Drive, according to a police report.
Police said several items, “including jewelry and a PlayStation 3, were stolen.” The loss is about $1,500, according to the police report.

Dirt bike taken from property in Skippack Township
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a theft that occurred in the 1500 block of Green Hill Road in Skippack between 2 p.m. last Monday and 5 p.m. last Wednesday.
Police said an unknown person or people came took a 1988 yellow and blue Suzuki dirt bike; the bike also has several stickers.

Outdoor table taken from JayBee’s Café in Skippack
An iron table with butterfly tiles was taken from the porch of JayBee’s Café at 4019 Skippack Pike/Route 73 sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
It is unknown how many people may have been involved.

GPS, change taken from vehicle in Trappe Borough
An unknown person (or people) stole a Garmin 1300 GPS system, about $5 in coins and a damaged a cigarette lighter in a car parked in the 300 block of West Seventh Avenue in Trappe, last Wednesday, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report. The theft occurred sometime between 1 and 4 p.m., police said.
Anyone with information should call the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks, 610-584-1250, and reference incident number K03-1774482. Trooper Kenneth Noto is the lead investigator on this case, according to the report.
In another case, police said items were taken from a car parked on Franklin Court in Trappe sometime between 10:45 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday. The police report did not specify what items were missing.
