Woman Taken to Hospital Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Skippack Township

Injuries are not severe, according to authorities.

Skippack EMS transported a woman to Grand View Hospital after her car collided with a Marshall Oil truck on Route 113/Bridge Road in Skippack Township on Monday afternoon.

The woman was conscious at the scene, and her injuries were not life threatening, according to Kenneth Noto.

Noto said the truck driver was preparing to enter the roadway and saw no cars to his left. A gray sedan suddenly came into view on Route 113, and when the driver saw the truck, she swerved and skidded to avoid the other vehicle, entering the opposing lane of traffic, Noto reported. Returning to her side of the road, the rear passenger side of her car hit the front end of the truck.
