GOP dine on Crow while Trump makes Catholic Bishops look Saintly

The Ohio Republican Party will be sitting down to a heaping helping of Crow tonight at their annual fundraiser in Columbus While Trump serves up a buffet of lies and continues defiling the nation by endorsing child molesters, caging children, and bromancing with Putin. Voters noted that Trump makes catholic Bishops look like saints. On Thursday amid growing revelations of a “moral catastrophe” within the U.S. Catholic Church, the head of the American bishops’ group called for wider investigations of the former Archbishop of Washington, D.C. Theodore Edgar McCarrick (see photo of him hanging with George W. Bush) and said catholic voters should have a greater role in holding all abusers accountable.

Sadly, a PEW analysis showed that 60% of white Catholics voted for Trump in 2016; another “moral catastrophe” with many faithfully worshiping Trump like puppets with the same blind faith that allowed the church hierarchy to abuse their children for generations. But then the GOP has always been in bed with the religious right. They sold their souls to Trump just to get a Supreme Court nominee and then ‘doth protest too much, methinks’, when it is time for them to pay up.

Don’t worry religious rightards, the Republican party won’t do anything about Trump any more than the Bishops will do anything about those pedophile priests. They will all be there next time to continue abusing your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. That is, if your children aren’t already too traumatized now to have children of their own.

It reminds us of wacky Kim Davis, the religious county clerk for Rowan County, Kentucky, whose attorneys ultimately asked for a special accommodation for her so that she would not have to issue marriage licenses to gay couples. In other words, her own attorneys were equating her to someone with a mental disability and asking for a special accommodation the same way a special accommodation would be made to accommodate a mentally disabled person at work. Not unlike someone with schizophrenia who hears voices speaking to them (could it be GOD or the GOP?).

Of course the court did not grant her a special accommodation, because she ought to know better. She was ignorant by choice. She chose to be an ignorant puppet.

It must be really embarrassing for those catholic voters to now realize they were nothing more than ignorant puppets too, easily mislead and taken advantage of. They ought to have known better too. Now they are just part of Putin’s Repuppetcan Party.
