Harry Potter 'Wizard School' Comes To Franklin Institute Next Month
Tickets for the Harry Potter-themed event will sell quickly, organizers said, so get yours soon.
PHILADELPHIA – Harry Potter fans in the Philadelphia area need to know that the Franklin Institute is once again bringing "Wizard School" back to its Science After Dark program next month and tickets are sure to sell quickly.
From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26, the Franklin Institute will host the Wizard School Science After Dark event, which will feature a "potion off," live music at the "Yule Ball," trivia on all things witchcraft and wizardry, and more.
Tickets are $20 for non members and $15 for members. The event is for adults 21 years of age and older.

Wide World of Wizardry Potion-Off 2017 will be a live show featuring returning champ Severed Snipe as he takes on a newcomer from The Franklin Institute. Spells will be chosen at random as magic tries to tackle science to determine whose "magic" will reign supreme.
Over in the Fels Planetarium, the Yule Ball is take place. Local band OOLALA will be serving up their cinematic space rock
Attendees are encouraged to come in costume, however masks are not permitted.
Science After Hours events are part of a series designed for adults ages 21 and up that feature experiments, live demonstrations, and games around different themes providing a unique experience every month.
