Jennifer Hudson, Meghan Trainor Headlining Welcome America
Hudson has two Grammys and an Oscar, and Trainor herself also has Grammy. The two will headline this year's July 4 concert on the Parkway.

PHILADELPHIA — The lineup for the July 4 Welcome America concert on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway has been announced and it's packed with some of music's biggest names.
Welcome America, Inc. announced the line up Thursday.
Grammy Award-winning icons Jennifer Hudson and Meghan Trainor will take the stage this summer in honor of Independence Day.

Hudson rose from humble beginnings singing in a small Chicago church to reach worldwide acclaim, becoming a household name as a two-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Academy Award-winning actress and best-selling author. Hudson's self-titled debut album was certified gold and sold over a million copies worldwide. A powerhouse of talent and inspiration to many, Hudson continues her legacy through The Julian D. King Gift Foundation, advocating for children of all backgrounds by supporting their health, education, and welfare.
For the Wawa Welcome America performance, Hudson’s commanding vocals will be accompanied by The Philly POPS BIG Band, forming a truly unique experience.

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Meghan Trainor’s career was skyrocketed by the smash single “All About That Bass” in 2014, earning the Recording Industry Association of America’s diamond certification and solidifying her role as a pop-dynamo after becoming one of only five female artists to receive the award. Trainor is a Grammy Award-winner with seven multi-platinum singles and two platinum albums, has sold out three world tours, and penned multi-platinum hits for peers across pop and country.
The annual Wawa Welcome America July 4th Concert and Fireworks—produced by Live Nation Philadelphia and NBC10/Telemundo62—is one of the more than 50 free events, including three nights of fireworks, planned for the 2019 Wawa Welcome America six-day festival, Saturday, June 29 through Thursday, July 4.
Held on the iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway for its 27th consecutive year, this event is open to the public and begins promptly at 7 p.m. The show will be broadcasted live in its entirety by NBC10 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The concert will end with one of the largest fireworks display in Philadelphia. Presented by Comcast NBCUniversal and Pyrotecnico, the show will feature a soundtrack custom-made and performed by the U.S. Army Field Band.
