More Gunmen Sought In Eid Al-Fitr Shooting: Philadelphia Authorities
Authorities Friday said of the 33 bullet casings found at the scene, only 13 match up with firearms seized by police after the shooting.
PHILADELPHIA — While five people are in custody in connection with the shooting at a Muslim celebration in April, Philadelphia authorities believe more gunmen are out there.
Kahbir Oglesby-Hicks, 21, of Philadelphia is the only adult charged in connection with the incident. But the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office said the four teenagers who were arrested are now being charged as adults in the shooting.
Forensic evidence led the DA's office to upgrade charges filed against the five people.

Court records show Oglesby-Hicks is charged with firearm, aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime, conspiracy, recklessly endangering another person, and evading arrest in connection with the shooting. He was released after posting 10 percent of $100,000 bail, according to court documents.
Police also said only 13 of the 33 spent bullet casings found at the scene matched up with firearms seized by police at the scene. Thus, one or more additional gunmen are being sought by authorities.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have been a shooter in the April 10 West Philadelphia incident to turn themselves in. Additionally, anyone who may know information about other potential shooters in the incident are asked to contact police at 215-686-8477.
Police said the shooting occurred at about 2:30 p.m. April 10 on the 4700 block of Wyalusing Avenue in the Parkside neighborhood.
According to police, about 1,000 people were gathered at Clara Muhammad Square for the Ramadan celebration when about 30 gunshots rang out.
Police said two "factions" started shooting at one another, sending attendees of the event running.
Officers on scene stopped three males and a female who were running from the scene, and found firearms on them. The four, three of whom were juveniles and one of whom was an adult, were taken into custody, police said.
A 15-year-old boy was seen with a gun, and was shot twice, once each in the shoulder and leg, by an officer who spotted the gun. The boy was taken into custody alive and is at a hospital.
Police said a 22-year-old man was also shot during the incident. He is in stable condition. Additionally, a child was shot in his hand, police said.
Authorities were thankful that no one was killed in the shooting.
A young girl was also struck by a police vehicle and suffered a broken leg as she was running from the area, police said.
