NPR Quiz Show Recording In Philadelphia June 29

Tickets go on sale for "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21.

PHILADELPHIA – NPR's famous quiz show that is both enlightening and hilarious is coming to Philadelphia later this year and you can attend. Tickets for the live "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" show go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, April 21, but Mann Center members can take advantage of presales at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19.

The show will be recorded at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 at the Mann Center, with tickets ranging fro $25 yo $135, according to the Mann Center's website.

With guests such as Mo Rocca from CBS Sunday Morning, comedian Paula Poundstone, columnist Amy Dickinson, and many more intellectuals, humorists, writers, politicians, and more, "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" has been on for 20 seasons with host Peter Sagal.

The show also puts listeners in the hot seat where they are quizzed on recent news to a chance to win an outgoing voicemail message from scorekeeper emeritus Carl Kasell, a very coveted prize among NPR listeners.

The show is part of the Mann Center's Summer Picnic Series, so ticket holders can bring food and drink while they enjoy the show. Anyone looking to drink alcoholic beverages at the show must bring identification showing they are 21 year of age or older.
